Welcome to the DeSales Class of 1969 Website!

If this is your first time here, please go to the "First Time Visitors" tab and follow the instructions to set up your log-in and complete your profile page. My profile is complete (kind of).

Plans are under way for our 55th! class reunion!!

Your volunteer team so far:

Chairman: Bud Locati

Website Administrator: Tim Kleespies

Event Planning Comittee: Volunteer list so far consists of Bud Locati, Eileen (Bell) Bussell, Patrice (Anthony) LaFrance, Jack Lyons and Pat Aylward.  We need another 4-6 people so Bud has enough folks to carry the load without anybody having to carry a heavy load.  We are getting older!   Please consider volunteering.  We just have some planning conference calls and then some follow up tasks,  Nothing overwhelming as long as we can divide the load.  Some of it is even kind of fun!  Thanks in advance for volunteering.

Q's and A's:

1. When is the reunion? The weekend of September 27, 28, and 29, 2024. Details as to activities will be provided at a later date.

2. Do I have to plan on attending the reunion to join the website? No! The website is a forum for you to both tell us what you've been up to and to catch up on what your classmates have been up to for the last half-century. Whether you plan on attending the reunion or not, we'd love to have you join us on the website.

3. Why are there ads? The website hosting company, Class Reunion Creator, provides a free base product, but loves to sell add-ons. I'm avoiding add-ons, at least for now. It costs a lot to get rid of the ads.

4. Why is the class picture from the 1968 yearbook instead of the 1969 yearbook? Because your webmaster is in this picture.

I look forward to seeing your profiles.

Tim

ANNOUNCEMENTS
I hope this finds everyone doing well. Anyone with cabin fever? For me, this is almost like being at sea on a submarine, except I can go out and walk around in the rain and sunshine.

I am working from home or from my office, since I am a single person operation. And I am teaching an engineering class at Midlands Technical College as an adjunct professor since January. This week, following a two week spring break, I began teaching a virtual class. Monday was my first class and it went very well with all but two students tuning in for the class.

stay safe, wash your hands often and love thy neighbor. God bless all of you.
